Mrs Robinson and Miss Halstead were very proud of the Sacramental Programme children who made their first confession at the Service of Reconciliation on Wednesday. All our love and blessings are with these children as they continue their spiritual journey. We are very grateful to Father John and Susan White who are being so supportive in church and during the school-based classes.

Year 6 pupils were fantastic last Thursday (14th March) at the St Augustine’s maths and science quiz! We didn’t win but we did try our best and had fun! Thank you to Cameron, Jacob, Lewis, Eloise, Julianna, Rea and Ava for representing our school so well!

We have sent out information about our Skip2BFit day. Please note that this event is on Wednesday 26th March. Next Tuesday we are fortunate to have Ribble Valley Martial Arts in school and they will be running classes and talks for all children in school. It’s really important that your child has their PE kit in school at all times so they can participate fully, not only in regular PE lessons but in additional activities like the skipping and martial arts.

We have sent home information about the FSA Film Night on Thursday 28th March. Through our licencing company we are able to show the film ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ which is not yet available on DVD. The last event was really enjoyable so we are hoping for a good turnout and for the children to have a nice social evening just before the Easter holiday.

After school clubs starting after Easter are filling quickly so please let the office know if your child would like a place and is not already booked in.

Children in Y6 are being given the option of purchasing a leavers’ hoodie in a colour of their choice. Please order these at the office by Friday 29th March.
