In Class One we have been doing a lot of work learning about the Great Fire of London which happened in 1666.
We have been baking (because the fire started in a bakers), and we have looked at how the London architecture added to the strength and rapidity of the fire.
Finally we built a model town and reenacted the fire – we made sure we had plenty of buckets of water to help put it out!
Minnie loved this x
Good to hear, we loved doing it too!
Bringing History to life always makes it more likely to stay in our memories.
Thank you
