Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
In English this week we have been looking at story poems (or narrative poetry) using TS Eliot’s ‘Cats’ as our inspiration (which all the children loved). We watched musical clips linked to each poem and sang them and, of course, we’re all in the theatre mode now and would love to do a show.
In Maths this week we have been looking at number sequences and mutiples and we have looked at how venn diagrams can be used to help us compare and contrast things. Venn diagrams are very interesting and not just a good way of representing things in maths – they’re often used in science too and we liked this little video (below) showing a Venn diagram in use. In RE we have been looking at The Sacrament of Confirmation and helping our Year 3 children in their Sacramental journey. In history we have begun looking at The Plague – this week we have asked historical questions such as when was it? what was it? and what happened?
We have also done a number of Remembrance Day activities
