Have you heard about our Mile Challenge?
At St Mary’s we aim to be a fit and healthy school and walking a mile a day is a simple but effective activity to promote health and well being. Miss Thorburn, armed with her trusty trundle wheel, marked out a mile course – 6 times around a route covering our yard and field makes 1 mile. Every dinner time we can walk our mile and then log it with a Class 3 helper.
Each week Miss Halstead will announce how many collective miles we have done as a school. We will be trying to maintain and better our scores.
